
Welp! Its that time of year again! Whether you are planning on eating and drinking all the way to January 1 or you are starting a few days early on your 2012 resolutions, here are a few tips for you to SUCCEED this year:
1. Set small goals - You did not get where you are overnight, so you aren't going to get OUT overnight. Make sure you set goals that are fairly easily attainable so that you gain momentum from the start.
2. Make a plan that you can follow - Start with just a few days a week to workout and a moderate diet plan. The best way to reach your goals and keep them instead of backslide is to NOT start off "gung-ho" only to burnout midway through.
3. Plan for roadbumps - It seems anytime you want to begin down the path towards a worthy goal, something or EVERYTHING will stand in your way. Plan to stick with it even through difficulty and you WILL reach your goals!!
4. Find a buddy - It is a good idea to get someone that is on the same page you are so that you can keep each other accountable. Plus, success is SO much better when there are more people to share it with!
5. Resolve to finish what you started - Visualize yourself reaching your goals, whatever they may be. The more you can see it, the easier it is to get there.
