Director of Fitness and Personal Training

Brian is a 12 year health and fitness pro with an extensive background in all types of training and education. His passion for health and fitness started at a young age, which led him to play multiple sports in high school including varsity football and wrestling. He was the first student in the history of his high school to participate in varsity wrestling for all four years. This led to him receiving a wrestling scholarship. After a severe shoulder injury sidelined his wrestling career, he transferred to the University of Central Florida. That’s where he focused his attention on rehabilitation while earning a Bachelors degree in sports medicine with an emphasis in athletic training. In addition to that, he also received a minor in Fitness Training Education which he has used extensively throughout his career as he has trained many other fitness professionals and helped them launch their own career. Along with those degrees,  he was awarded his personal training certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)- one of the top 3 certifications in the world.

 His career has taken him to many different levels and areas of expertise, working as an athletic trainer at the high school level, college level, semi pro and with a few professional athletes as well. During his years as an athletic trainer,Brian realized that he was more passionate about working with the general population that just solely focusing on athletes. This slight adjustment in focus still allows him to work with athletes of all ages, but it also allows him to work with people that may not typically receive top level, professional care.  This led him to establish his own personal training business, which grew quickly as he scored contracts with the 104 employees of the local Fire Department, all of the county elementary schools, 2 public gyms and 4 private gyms. This really ignited his passion and desire to love train people from all walks of life and he started to see the fulfillment of his “job” – even though it never seemed like “just a job” to him. Just talk to Brian for 5 minutes and you will see that he truly enjoys working with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds and loves to watch their excitement grow as their health and fitness levels improve. 

He says, “there is nothing more gratifying than helping to improve another person’s quality of life.” You can see that in the way he treats every person and how he approaches every session.  Some of his most satisfying accomplishments as a personal trainer and fitness professional have come from helping recovering stroke victims learn how to stand and walk again and helping people to learn how to lose the weight properly and how to keep it off successfully. He loves the challenge of teaching people that exercise and fitness can be fun.  In fact, he says “If I can show you how to have fun while exercising, you will never want to quit.”   Speaking of fun, you could say Brian is an adrenaline junkie- he enjoys deep sea diving, skydiving, flyboarding, skim boarding, mud runs and riding his motorcycle.  If it’s adventurous and fun, Brian is trying it!

His philosophy is simple:  Exercise is not about getting in shape for one single event, but rather for being in shape for each event in life’s adventures. Brian is available for orientations, personal training and consultations.
